Amada Records' Own Icielani Breaks Billboard Charts

Living her best life Icielani reflects on her journey as a youth to being featured on Amada records Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica album. Although charting on Billboard, Icielani”s motivation to success didn’t start with a silver spoon in her mouth. “Icielani”s hard work has paid off “ states Michael Hudgins Owner of Beatbopper and partners with Amada Records. We are currently working on a Sean Kingston song produced by Gripbeats that will turn heads said Dj Choice. Both business partners agree that Icielani is easy to work with which will open plenty of doors for her. Icielani”s passion for music reflects in her music and having a strong family base. Living in her grandparents home when she was born with her parents and two siblings in Etobicoke, the west-end of Toronto.  In her childhood years settling in Mississauga, Ontario, the suburbs west of the outskirts of Toronto.  With her parents migrating from Eastern Europe, Check out her DNA mix blessed with 10 different ethnicities. Eastern european, Irish, Great Britain, Italian, Greek, Finnish, Northwest Russian, Scandinavian, West Europe and Middle Eastern West Asia. From a young age, she has loved performing - specifically singing.  Between singing in the living room with her siblings and singing in her church's choir since she was seven years old, music has always had a special place in her heart.  

She grew up in a household and neighborhood where her influence in music was lot of R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, Rock and Reggae especially with Toronto being home to Caribana, a Caribbean festival held every year that she would attend growing up. She grew up without segregation and grew in a very multicultural environment and embraces this throughout her life and in her music.  Her music is versatile from R&B Ballads, to Dance/Dancehall vibes, her bilingual words and vocals all in one blended melting pot instrument of who she is.

A ballerina, jazz, gymnastics and belly dancer.  Modeling with her 5 year swimsuit model contract with Swimsuit Canada in Toronto opening a concert for Canadian VJ Master T and Kardinal Offishall, having the blessing of meeting Dalai Lama during a swimsuit charity show in Ottawa Ontario for the Childrens Wish Foundation. Making on screen movie appearances in the remaking of the Jimi Hendrix movie and Bait with Jamie Foxx, David Morse, Mike Epps and Kimberly Elise.   After high school, Icielani was accepted into Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts to study the triple threat program: acting, dancing and singing. During that time she recorded a scrappy demo of "Killing Me Softly" by the Fugees with a Notorious B.I.G beat with her brother in their basement and it was found by the owner of Caribbean Sound Basin in Trinidad & Tobago at 19 years old asked her to fly out to the studio in the island to record in her first studio for the first time of her life she recorded her voice on some demos and mixtapes there.  Returning back from Trinidad, began studying English Literature at the University of Toronto to learn poetry about Shakespeare and various famous poets when she learned with her unconditional faith how to write songs.
